Born and raised in Memramcook, Marc and his wife Christine are the proud parents to two children, Mathieu and Miguelle. Marc studied at La Cité collégiale in Ottawa in 1996 to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. Following his studies, he went on the work at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital for several years. As much as he had a passion for the healthcare field, he also wanted to expand his experience in management, while still specializing in healthcare. Marc now has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare/management sector including positions within hospitals, Social Development and special care and nursing homes.
Always having an interest in politics and a passion for helping people, Marc went on to serve his community as a councillor (at large) for Memramcook where he is now serving his sixth year. Marc’s experience as a councillor has included being on various committees such as for the Congrès mondial acadien, the community centre, Eco Vision Memramcook and MADA (New Brunswick Age-Friendly Community).
In his spare time, Marc enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, hunting and fishing. As a child, he always played golf and hockey and has enjoyed the last 15 years watching his children pursue different sports.
