Thanks to the amalgamation of a small village and several local service districts, on May 8, 1995, our beautiful valley – the Village de Memramcook was born. Memramcook is a great place to live, where people want to put down their roots. Our vibrant and thriving municipality celebrated its 25th anniversary of incorporation in 2020. And today still, Municipal Officials continue to work hard to develop this young community overflowing with potential.

On May 8, 1995, the amalgamation of a small village and several local service districts gave birth to our beautiful valley – the Village de Memramcook. Following this incorporation, the municipality wanted to acquire its own coat of arms. Containing key symbolic elements, our coat of arms appears on official documents as well as on the municipality’s flag.

Thanks to the Department of Wellness, Culture and Sports’ Historic Places Initiative, the Village de Memramcook was awarded a project in which municipalities, with the help of partnerships with local heritage and preservation groups, can identify and declare local heritage sites within their community.
