Community Cleanup

NB Parks and Trails Day is celebrated each year on the first weekend of June. On the occasion of this event and in order to keep our community clean, the Village de Memramcook invites you to participate to our Community Cleanup 2020. Choose a street, trail or the surroundings of your property and pick up the garbage at a time that suits you.

In order to comply with the recommendations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, participants are asked to follow certain instructions:

- You can pick up your cleanup kit this week (1 per person) from 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. at the Municipal building. If you prefer, you can use your own gloves and clear garbage bags that you already have at home.

- If you meet someone on the trails, ensure that you are maintaining a 2-metre distance.

- Outdoor equipment like benches and garbage bins are not disinfected. Avoid touching these surfaces.

- Be mindful of vehicles when near the road and wear bright colours or reflective vests.

- Wear gloves and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or hand sanitizer when completed.

- You can dispose of the bags during the regular garbage pick-up on the week of June 8. Make sure all the garbage is in clear bags.
