Our AFM (Age-Friendly Municipalitiy) Workshop will take place Tuesday, January 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Memramcook Golden Age Club (Berceau). A morning of activities and presentations.
?? Mireille Basque from Revenue Canada will present various credits and benefits, the Canada child benefit, the disability / child disability benefits, the GST / HST credits, the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, online information and scams.
?? Chantal LePage from Service Canada will present two income security programs for seniors: Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS).
? Lunch (sandwiches, dessert, tea and coffee) at a cost of $5.

April 22 Community Cleanup Let's keep Earth clean and green, it's not a trash machine!
In celebration of Earth Day, the Village de Memramcook in collaboration with the Trans Canada Trail is organizing a community cleanup activity. Our Community Cleanup Week will begin on Monday, April 22 and will continue until Sunday, April 28. Participants can pick up a cleaning kit at the Municipal Building located at 540 Centrale Street, during office hours.
At a time that suits you best, you can choose to clean trails, parks, roadsides, backyards, etc. Don't forget to share your photos with us via Facebook or email at village@memramcook.com. Participation prizes are up for grabs! |
