Tuesday Talk with Georgette LeBlanc
Monument-Lefebvre – www.monumentlefebvre.ca / 758-9808

L'Océan de la langue : à la rencontre du français en Acadie - Through the collection Océan published by Éditions Perce-Neige and encouraged by the Governor General's literary prize in translation 2020, poet Georgette LeBlanc invites the public to explore the ocean of her language; how and why she chose to write and translate in Acadian French.

Originally from Baie Sainte-Marie in Nova Scotia, Georgette LeBlanc publishes with Éditions Perce-Neige where she directs the Acadie Tropicale collection. She has collaborated and contributed to the theatrical, television and musical scene as an author and collaborator. We also find her in various literary reviews where she publishes poems and more intimate exploratory texts. She lives in Le Coude (Greater Moncton) in New Brunswick.

FREE ENTRANCE

The Tuesday talks are presented from July 13 to August 31, 2021 at 7 p.m. in person at the Monument-Lefebvre and live on Facebook.
