May 25 Volunteer Appreciation Night The Village de Memramcook wishes to highlight the strong commitment of volunteers in the community. A large number of not-for-profit organizations and associations work within the municipality and we are privileged to be able to work with such devoted and fantastic people!
We will be holding a Volunteer Recognition Night on Wednesday, May 25 at the Monument-Lefebvre. During this evening, three community organizations will be recognized and inducted into the Volunteer Wall of Fame: Semer dans la Vallée, Dieppe-Memramcook Minor Hockey and Nursing Home Volunteers. In addition, we will recognize the members of the Memramcook Volunteer Advisory Committee.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. The ceremony and presentation of recognition plaques will begin at 6:30 p.m. A light snack will be served at the end of the ceremony. We look forward to seeing many of you there! |

May 27 Free tomato plant for Memramcook Seniors! Organized in collaboration with Semer dans la Vallée.
At the end of each month, we offer a special day (a surprise, a discount or an activity) dedicated to seniors of the community. On May 27 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., seniors are invited to pick up a free tomato plant at the Abbey-Landry School (outside the school on the side of the school facing the ball field). *Delivery option also available. Contact us at 758-4078. The 'Tiny Tim' Tomato is a great plant to grow in a container. It produces a compact, upright, bushy plant 20-40 cm high by about 30 cm wide. These delicious, firm, round red tomatoes are only 2-4 cm in diameter. |
