    Let's keep Earth clean and green, it's not a trash machine!

    In celebration of Earth Day, the Village de Memramcook in collaboration with the Trans Canada Trail is organizing a community cleanup activity.

    Our Community Cleanup Week will begin on Monday, April 21 and will continue until Sunday, April 27. Participants can pick up a cleaning kit at the Municipal Building located at 540 Centrale Street, during office hours.

    At a time that suits you best, you can choose to clean trails, parks, roadsides, backyards, etc. Don't forget to share your photos with us via Facebook or email at village@memramcook.com. Participation prizes are up for grabs!

    The Memramcook Wellness Committee's Walking Club is back until the end of April 2025! Sessions are held Monday to Thursday, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Abbey-Landry School. Annual dues are $10. For more information, please contact Diane LeBlanc at 506-758-3902 or e-mail dianeleb65@gmail.com.

    Hospice SENB will offer a free 7-week program for those grieving, from April 29 to June 10, every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (maximum 12 participants).

    As part of the National Volunteer Week, The Memramcook Wellness Committee is launching Bénévolat Memramcook Volunteering, a virtual platform that connects people with causes they care about and where their talents are in demand. Join us to celebrate the official opening of the new website on Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Café du Monument Lefebvre for all the details. Note that a light snack will be served. We are confident that this site will spark a surge in volunteer effort that will help create a wave of positive change in our community

    The Prix Éloi 2025 returns to recognize two artists who have made a significant impact on the cultural scene in Memramcook. This year, the selection committee will honor Julie Aubé, a multidisciplinary artist and member of Les Hay Babies, and Bernard LeBlanc, a pioneer of Acadian theatre. Join us to celebrate these influential figures on May 4 at 2 p.m. at Monument Lefebvre in Memramcook. Admission is free, with a voluntary contribution at the door.
